Project Description
Redo.io is a data platform for legal practitioners working on sentence review and systemic fairness. It ingests individual-level prison-sentence data obtained via the California Public Records Act and provides a free, searchable database.
Built-in AI/ML screening highlights people serving potentially excessive sentences for non-serious offenses and produces candidate lists for second-look review by public defenders and prosecutors.
A bias-analysis toolkit generates reproducible statistical reports on sentencing outcomes (by factors such as race, priors, and enhancements) suitable for use in prima facie or discovery motions.
