Caselaw Access Project

Description

Harvard Law Library and Ravel Law digitized 6.7 million cases for the Caselaw Access Project. A cleaned version is hosted on Hugging Face by Teraflop AI.

The collection covers state, federal, and territorial courts, and the earliest case is from 1658. It includes only officially published decisions, so most lower court decisions are missing. Teraflop AI post-processed the texts for model training and released them under a CC0 license.
